1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using The Bib mobile application ("the App"), operated by Course Caddy LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What The Bib Is
The Bib is a marketplace that connects golfers with caddies. We provide the platform — we are not a party to any arrangement, contract, or transaction between a golfer and a caddie. Compensation, schedules, performance, and any disputes between users are between those users.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and at least 18 to enter into bookings.
- You must provide accurate, current information about yourself.
- Caddie accounts are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove caddie profiles at our discretion.
4. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@course-caddy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your experience, tour, or credentials.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any rule of golf, tour, or club governing body.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or spam content.
- Attempt to circumvent The Bib to avoid platform features (off-platform soliciting that violates the spirit of the marketplace).
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or data from the App.
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
6. Caddie Approval & Trust
We review every caddie application before granting visibility in golfer search. We may revoke approval at any time. Approval is not an endorsement of any specific caddie, nor a guarantee of their availability, performance, or character.
7. Bookings & Payment
The Bib facilitates introductions and communications. Payment terms between golfers and caddies are negotiated directly between them, outside the App. We do not process payments at this time, hold funds, or guarantee delivery of services. Where in-app purchases are offered (subscriptions, premium features), they are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their respective terms.
8. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of content you submit (profile text, bio, photos, messages). By submitting, you grant Course Caddy LLC a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.
Do not submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
9. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Some sections of these Terms (Indemnification, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF CADDIES OR GOLFERS LISTED ON THE PLATFORM.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COURSE CADDY LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Course Caddy LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
